Is this password generator safe to use?

Yes. This tool runs entirely in your browser using the Web Crypto API (crypto.getRandomValues), which is cryptographically secure. No passwords are ever sent to our servers or stored anywhere. You can even disconnect from the internet after loading the page and it will still work.

How long should my password be?

Security experts recommend at least 12-16 characters. Our default is 20 characters, which would take billions of years to crack with current technology. For high-security accounts like banking, consider 20+ characters.

What makes a strong password?

A strong password is long (12+ characters), random (not based on words or personal info), unique (different for every account), and uses a mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols. This generator creates passwords with all these qualities.

Should I use a password manager?

Absolutely. No one can memorize dozens of unique 20-character passwords. Use a password manager like Bitwarden (free) or 1Password to store them securely. Generate passwords here, then save them in your manager.

Do you store my generated passwords?
